Jimmy Jazz, a leading urban footwear and apparel retailer, is looking for an intern who will assist our SEO manager with researching and identifying new opportunities for organic improvement. The intern will be involved in search engine optimization campaigns from research to reporting including identifying trends, conducting competitive research, building links, optimizing select content, etc. Ideal candidates will be detail oriented and reliable and must have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask and the desire to work hard and be a team player. An internship with Jimmy Jazz/ JimmyJazz.com will allow students to gain insight to the inner workings of an online/ e-commerce SEO division.
As an SEO Intern, position responsibilities will include:
- Generate reports, keyword research and other related tasks
- Identifying new opportunities for link building
- Assist SEO manager with day-to-day activities
Qualified candidates should possess the following:
- Knowledge of link building and best SEO practices
- Desire to learn more about SEO & SEM
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work alone, as well as collaborate with team
- Interest in the fashion/ entertainment business
- Knowledge of MS Office & SEO a plus.
- Laptop, but not a requirement
- Available at least 3 days a week, flexible hours
