Company Description:
At Hands-On Mobile (HOM), our interns (a.k.a HOMies) play an important part in the daily innovation and creativity that make up our distinct culture. Currently, we are looking for individuals interested in making a contribution to the mobile community through games, connected applications and the best-in-class mobile content. Summer internships are full-time positions and take place over a 6-8 week period. Start and end dates are flexible with regard to academic schedules, but you'll be expected to commit to at least 2 months of full-time work between the months of May and September 2008. Your summer experience will take you on an educational journey and provide you with a deeper understanding of HOM’s work environment, culture, and products. By the end of the summer, your world will be mobilized!

YOUR PROGRAM
All HOMies will receive ongoing mentorship and training throughout their summer experience. You will be assigned to a current employee who will encourage you, oversee your work, establish goals, and support your professional development. Additionally, the Human Resources Department will sponsor a series of trainings for your continued education. You will also have the opportunity to attend weekly brown bag lunches and company meetings where you will be introduced to the people who are responsible for mobilizing the world. Your summer adventure will include:
• A 6-8 week summer assignment
• A unique glimpse into the mobile community
• Workshops, tech talks and skill-building seminars
• Social activities, team-building and networking events
• Mentorship and guidance through your summer experience
