We offer our clients a range of IT services, including strategic technology planning, hardware and software procurement, IT infrastructure implementation, and IT maintenance, through onsite and managed support.

Job Description: Varsity Technologies is seeking a motivated self-starter for the position of Business Development Intern. This is an ideal situation for a student or recent college graduate seeking to gain valuable hands-on experience in the business world. The Business Development Intern will be mentored closely by the CEO during the internship.

Internship Details:

The Business Development Intern will assist the CEO in identifying potential leads and creating a targeted marketing campaign and business plan for the Bay Area K-12 education market. The internship responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Identify potential clients in the Bay Area K-12 education market
• Develop a customer profile to help target leads
• Generate and qualify leads
• Capture “Top 50” potential clients and their contacts
• Assist with the development and execution of a targeted marketing campaign to this market segment
• Assist with the creation of a business development plan to expand business into this market segment

Education/Training:

• Bachelors degree in business or marketing, MBA preferred
• 1 - 2 years of business development experience a plus
• Experience in the industry a plus, but not required
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications required

Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent customer service skills. The Business Development Intern must maintain a high level of professionalism with customers, vendors, and staff.
