We are heads-down focused on growing and developing a smart assortment of brands and providing easy access to fashion, within the best possible shopping experience for our fashion customers. In this role, a successful candidate will be able to lead the planning and execution of merchandise initiatives to grow the rapidly expanding retail business at Amazon profitably. Buyers will be able to analyze and recommend market opportunities as well as develop existing brand businesses and relationships. The candidate will negotiate independently with vendors as well as internally at Amazon. Within the fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will manage multiple projects concurrently and lead team initiatives. Members of the Amazon Fashion hiring and recruiting teams will be traveling to San Francisco to formally meet with experienced Buyers on: Monday, May 20th, 2013 Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 Prior to onsite meetings, all candidates will have the opportunity for phone conversations with the team to learn more about these positions and company culture. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree 3+ years of fashion/apparel retail buying experience Buying/planning, retail operations, or finance background

Preferred Qualifications
