Kara Ross Production Intern
Kara Ross NY is looking for Production Interns, starting ASAP, at least 3 times per week. School credit is available.
Day-to-day tasks:
- SAMPLES
o Involved in creative process/product development
o Part of meetings with manufacturers for upcoming seasons
o Choosing colorways/building stories/cutting & gluing skins and stones in new samples
o Help coordinate all samples & get ready for the upcoming season(s)
- PRODUCTION/SHIPPING
o Help with the checking in and QC’ing process
o In charge of facilitating organization of the production process
o Deal with issues regarding production & shipping
o Keep track of receiving and shipping
o Create shipping materials
o Work with our manufacturers to make sure they have the necessary materials
o Check in and help distribute all production materials
- MISC
o Anything that comes up on a daily basis
§ Repairs
§ Vendor relations
§ Check up on our stores
§ Running errands – looking for materials/inspiration
o Daily organization of jewelry & belts
