Writing Internship - Portland

Copywriters and editors, you'll want to jump on this exciting training opportunity to develop your web marketing writing skills for a fun, fast-growing company set to create a state-of-the-art online presence.

OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We're looking for an energetic, smart and laugh-loving person to receive part-time training with our senior management team as they create new content for our company's websites.
Training will include:*
Process and creation of B2B web site
Process and creation of marketing copy for electronic mail and printed brochure campaigns for B2B and B2C customers.*
Process and creation of marketing material for both electronic media (web, e-mail, blogs, social media) and print.*
Execution social media and internet marketing strategies.
Training closely with all departments as approved changes are made.

REQUIREMENTS:* Excellent copywriting skills are a must.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in all other areas a must.* Knowledge of SEO and email marketing principles a plus.* Knowledge of and experience with SEO-production style writing is highly preferred.* Knowledge of and familiarity with social media including Facebook and Twitter a plus.* Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) a plus.* A strong willingness to learn and adapt is a must.* Well-developed sense of humor absolutely essential.* Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field a plus.* Familiarity with AP and Chicago styles preferred.*
