Very busy boutique interior design firm seeks a motivated and energetic design intern to join our team! Must be a self-starter who is proactive, organized, punctual, and detail oriented.
Job Responsibilities will include: - Drafting - Sourcing/Pricing for fabrics and furnishings - Office Errands (some personal errands) - Assist designers with fabric and furniture selections - Creating excel spreadsheets - General design office duties including updating client files, organizing sample and resource library, project related errands, and general assistance answering the phones. Requirements include: - Interior design background - Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, detail oriented environment - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook - Strong organizational skills - Must have valid drivers license and car - Must be able to prioritize work flow and work independently.
