Barneys New York is committed to providing the best of everything: merchandise, customer service, and innovative people with creative ideas. We are seeking an enthusiastic, qualified summer intern for the Web department in our Lyndhurst, NJ office. This student will work under the senior copywriter for www.barneys.com. The position will run for ten weeks during the summer and is open to students currently enrolled as undergraduates. While this is an unpaid opportunity, it is a great way to learn about the business of eCommerce within the fashion industry.

Responsibilities:
• Write copy for www.barneys.com and www.barneyscoop.com
• Check the site for errors or outdated text
• Fact check vendor and product information on material to be published

Qualifications:
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Major in English, communications, creative writing, or fashion
