The AtomicOnline Business Development team is looking for a passionate and motivated summer intern to contribute to the many functions within our dynamic department. The fall intern will help identify emerging internet trends, cultivate current affiliate publisher relationships, and gain valuable experience in the fast growing new media/online advertising industry. If you have a passion for the online segment, are a strategic thinker, and have an analytic approach to doing business, this could be the perfect internship for you! Must be a fan of the internet and regularly visit a variety of websites. This position is perfect for an energetic, hungry to learn, gets-things-done-right individual. Great for someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of the growing online advertising business. Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate new affiliate partnership endeavors
Research new opportunities using Media, Metrix, Alexa and other industry tools
Report and analyze competitor trends, industry data, current partners, sales trends, and other business development trends
Assist with the creation of a quarterly affiliate newsletter
Outreach to new publishers on the phone or via e-mail
Required Skills and Proficiency Levels:
Passion about the internet (REQUIRED)
Working towards a degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related/equivalent field
Online media or advertising experience (a plus)
Create Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to share with prospective publishers and sales
