Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated intern for the marketing department that will have their hands on many areas of our business, allowing them to learn and create in the fast-paced environment of a start-up. By the time the internship is over, our intern will have the ability to create and implement a marketing campaign from start to finish.

We are looking for an intern to work 16-20 hours per week for a 3 month period. This internship is unpaid, however a travel stipend will be provided.

Included Responsibilities

* Involvement in developing marketing copy
* Online marketing
* Research of the online green market
* Learning about analytics and ad serving technologies
* Database as well as some data entry
* Writing and developing Creative Briefs
* Final task will be to create and carry out a marketing campaign from start to finish

Required Skills

* Proficient knowledge of MS Office Applications
* Strong internet skills
* Ability to research and find answers in an efficient manner
* Interest in online social media
* Self-initiative
* Strong organizational skills is crucial
* Desire to learn about sustainability and the emerging green market

BPCM is a major PR firm based in Soho with clients in men’s and women’s fashion, accessories and beauty including Christian Lacroix, Celine, Brian Atwood, L’occitane and many more. We are seeking candidates for an internship who are eager to learn and ready and willing to work hard.

Job duties include maintaining the showroom, assisting publicists with everyday duties, tracking samples, updating and maintaining credits, mailings, and assisting in the day-to-day workings of the office. BPCM participates in NY Fashion Week with corresponding Press Days; Interns are hands on in both events. While we sometimes work long hours, we do our best to ensure that the experience is well worth it.

Interns are needed to start as soon as possible with a 2.5-3 months time commitment working 3-4 days a week 9:30am-6pm. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in public relations and the fashion industry. You will interact with clients, fashion editors and stylists on a daily basis. Although the internship is unpaid, school credit is available.
