Creative Chaos is a New York-based fashion production company with an elite group of clients in the fields of fashion editorial and advertising, including Italian Flair Magazine, all H&M advertising and Target Beauty.
We are constantly looking for strong candidates to intern at our company.

The ideal candidate should above all, have a professional phone manner, be outgoing and friendly. Other desirable qualities include: a working knowledge of fashion and art, strict attention to detail, follow-through, great organization skills, good computer skills and enthusiasm for all tasks. The working schedule for this position is flexible, but candidates who can commit at least two days a week are preferred. Consecutive days are ideal. 3-4 is optimal.

The internship is a casting/production assistant that begins ASAP. Creative Chaos is preparing for the upcoming F/W 2008 shooting season, and is looking for suitable candidates who will be able to contribute to the day-to-day workings of the company.

Daily duties include:
-fielding phone calls in a diplomatic and personable manner
-general office maintenance
-research for future projects, fashion events and ideas
-assisting producers/directors with location scouting and model casting

This is an UNPAID INTERNSHIP. Work study/credit encourages. We are a small company that has an excellent hands-on internship program that allows interns to learn all aspects of the business. Students with art,production, communication, PR backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Style House PR is a boutique fashion & accessories public relations company in New York City specializing in product placement, events, celebrity dressing, and securing media coverage for our luxury clients. We are now accepting applicants for internships, both for immediate start and summer 2009 (June start). Interns will join our friendly and close-knit work environment where they will learn about ALL facets of fashion PR, media outreach and fashion marketing. This is not a coffee-runner internship by any means. The ideal candidate is stylish, educated, creative, enthusiastic, and media savvy (magazine, TV, newspaper, internet/blogs) with a true interest in the business of public relations. Boutique fashion pr agency on the uws specializing in womenswear and intimates is looking for an intern to devote 20 – 30 hrs per week beginning ASAP. A STRONG interest in fashion PR is a must!

Duties include but aren’t limited to:

• Sample trafficking/maintenance
• Updating media lists/blog research
• Event Assistance
• Day-to-day office duties like the occasional errand, answering the phone, etc.

• Potential to do some press release/blog writing

You are stylish, bright, outgoing, a people-person, on-the-ball, proactive, results-driven, able to take/follow direction, able to execute projects with minimal supervision, have a great speaking voice, go the “extra mile” rather than putting in minimal effort, are a quick learner, are a FAST typer and are proficient in Excel, Word (mail merge knowledge a plus!), Outlook and of course the web. News, The Daily 10, Gossip Girl, The City...you get the drift.

Important! You MUST have a speedy, portable laptop to bring with you every day. PC or Mac is fine, but must be on the newer side (no slow, ancient laptops), and must have Microsoft Office installed (Word, Excel, Outlook/Entourage). If you do not fit these requirements this is not the internship for you.

Must must must have an interest in fashion & fashion PR – prior, relevant internships a plus.

Experience Requirements:

Glam Media (www.glam.com), one of the web’s fastest growing web properties, seeks a part-time graphic design intern to join our team for a three to six month rotation.

Responsibilities
- You will work with Glam’s creative, design and production team to help create graphic elements and visual designs for our clients and special projects.
- You will assist in producing creative designs for custom advertising campaigns running on the Glam Media Network.
- You will assist in the design and production of articles, slideshows, quizzes and custom ad products running on glam.com and the Glam Media Network.

Qualifications
- Strong skills with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

This internship will give you hands on experience on the ins and outs of a real working fashion studio.
