Paid Internship Fashion & Lifestyle PR LA

Seeking intern for DMD Lab, an established fashion and lifestyle PR agency with offices in NY and LA. Looking for a star intern for our Downtown LA office/showroom who is smart, organized and driven and brings a great attitude a strong ideas. This is a paid position starting at ~15-20 hours/week, with potential to grow into a full-time position for the right team member. Intern compensation is $8/hour plus $5/day for parking.

Duties Include:
* Assist in pitching to fashion and lifestyle magazines & blogs
* Maintain and update lists
* Facilitate stylist and editorial pulls
* Scan and uploading of press clipping
* Support with daily activities

Qualifications:
* Highly organized and dependable
* Strong phone pitching skills a must and established press contacts a plus
* Strong verbal and written communication
* Excellent follow up
* Work effectively in a fast paced team environment
* Must be able to take initiative on projects and work independently
* Past fashion/lifestyle PR or showroom experience highly desirable
* Friendly and positive, and able to have fun while working hard
