Small, boutique PR agency seeks interns for the luxury division. Clients include luxury fashion, jewelry and lifestyle brands. Involved in media and celebrity outreach, as well as New York Fashion Week.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct media research
• Compile press lists
• Track client press
• Format/manage press books
• Assist in event planning/coordination and individual brand projects
• Package and deliver samples
• Answering phones/general office duties
This will be a very hands-on internship, incredibly fast-paced, with strict deadlines—ideal for someone who truly wants to get a sense of what PR is all about.
Candidates MUST possess the following skills:
• Self-starting, motivated individual with strong time management skills and positive attitude
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and focused
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette
• Strong knowledge of MAC/Office Suite, including Excel and Powerpoint
• Minimum GPA 3.2
• Available a minimum of 2-3 days/week
Will provide recommendations, as well as college credit.
