Seeking intern for DMD Lab, an established New York fashion and lifestyle PR agency launching Downtown LA branch and showroom. Looking for a star team member who is smart, organized and driven and brings a great attitude a strong ideas. This is a paid position ($800/month stipend) starting at ~30 hours/week, and person will play key role in developing branch with excellent growth potential.
Duties Include (30 hr/wk):
* Assist in writing, interacting and pitching to fashion and lifestyle magazines & blogs
* Maintain and update lists
* Assist with buyer coordination
* Facilitate stylist and editorial pulls
* Scan and uploading of press
* Support VP with daily activities
* Learning the trade and loving what you do!
Qualifications:
* Highly organized and dependable
* Strong verbal communication and writing
* Strong knowledge of fashion and lifestyle magazine and blogs
* Knowledge of social networking sites
* Passion for fashion and lifestyle
* Work effectively in a fast paced team environment
* Must be able to take initiative on projects and work independently
* Proficiency with Photoshop & Excel is a plus
* Past fashion/lifestyle PR or showroom experience highly desirable
* Friendly and positive, and able to have fun while working hard
