Our Business Development Director position reports directly to our President and CEO and is responsible for all aspects of sales and business development with existing (25%) and new (75%) clients. Who are we looking for? We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic go-gettem salesperson who has the chutzpah to call the CMO of a company to pitch a Moderne service solution that they just know will fit the brand, darnit, even if that CMO hasn’t ever heard of Moderne or the salesperson. We want someone who lives, breathes, eats, sleeps, and dreams about the exciting worlds of Non-Traditional Marketing and Advertising and how they personally can make a difference to companies and brands. We want someone who isn’t afraid of the phone (yes, there *may* be cold calling involved!), who can wow us (and clients!) with their attention to detail and thoroughness, who is forward-thinking, and who likes Italian food. Above all, we’re looking for someone who is energetic, excited to come to work every day, and who is pumped to make a difference in our company and the companies of our clients. The primary purpose of this role is to develop relationships with new and existing Moderne accounts. The ideal candidate Grows opportunities with existing accounts by selling additional services. Solicits new business. Entertains potential and existing clients. Assists in re-signing existing business. You will also be responsible for: • Sales Volume - $500k or more annually • Supporting strategic sales and program development goals as developed by President and COO • Actively engages in the hunt by making a constant effort to find new business through existing relationships, current/previous Moderne accounts, cold calls, networking, and/or referrals. • Sells all Moderne services, including but not by any means limited to: Nightlife and Event Marketing solutions, Digital, Interactive and Social Media Marketing Programs, and Multiethnic, Multicultural and Audience-targeted programs. • Craft strategies, articulate messages, and implement marketing programs to drive sales and exposure • Develop marketing materials, such as: case studies, client presentations, executive, presentations, media kits, customized emails, and more • Provide research and data analysis to support the creation of compelling positioning and messaging for Moderne’s advertising solutions.

Looking for

You’re Interested – Yes You Are! You should have at least three (3) to four (4) years of related experience. A Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
