Full service niche marketing company in the beauty industry currently has an opening for a junior production/design assistant. The ideal candidate should have interest working with an entrepreneurial team in combination virtual workplace and face to face.

This position is appropriate for an individual who is seeking real world marketing experience with a creative specialty advertising agency. This position requires regular work in the following catagories:

• Eblasts & email template creation
• Marketing Collateral such as rack cards, flyers, brochures, postcards & posters
• Graphic Design in the area of logo creation and banner creation
• Web updates – need working knowledge of HTML, PHP & Flash

Copy, layout and color scheme will be supplied and you must be able to turn that into layouts for approval and then finished product. Passion in your artistic ability and creativity is a must, as well as computer software and technology skills.

Qualifications:
• College student or recent graduate with a concentration in advertising or graphic design
• Strong interest in advertising, marketing or graphic design
• Owns or has access to a lab with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Recent working knowledge of web design & print design.
• Graphic design coursework or experience
• Creative, hardworking, and dependable
• Excellent communication skills

This entry level position will allow you to learn how to manage marketing campaigns, design proper layouts and measure results. This position is a part-time position which can advance into a full time Associate Designer position and is targeted towards someone who is seeking real world marketing experience with growth and advancement opportunities. Hourly pay is begins at $10.00-$12.00 with a performance evaluation and possible increase after the first 90 days.

I am looking for an energetic and articulate person to do telemarketing and appointment scheduling for my insurance agency. This is a part-time, no-contract, at-will position.

JOB DUTIES
- Telemarketing (mix of cold calling and follow-up calls)
- Detailed note taking on call activity
- Computer data entry
- Scheduling appointments via a web-based contact management program

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 18 years or older
- High school education and some college preferred
- Previous experience a PLUS, but not essential
- Quick thinking and comfortable speaking on the phone – ability to improvise as client information is learned during a phone call
- Energetic – positive energy and attitude – You cannot be shy!
- Computer competency including the use of the internet, spreadsheets, word processing, and general navigation (I will NOT be training on the use of a computer. You MUST know how to easily navigate in a Windows environment)
- Organized – keep track of calls and call lists
- Legible handwriting and good note taking skills – detailed notes on each call conversation
- Willingness to learn
- Fun with good sense of humor! No exceptions!

This is an entry level position at $8 per hour as a starting wage. There will be a “trial” period to make sure the job is a good fit for both. This is a part-time, no-contract, at-will position.

Job is 2-4 hours in the evenings, Tuesday - Thursday and Saturday 10-2pm.
