FIVEten STUDIO is looking for driven, proactive interns to assist in day-to-day management of the gallery. We are a multifaceted studio where we not only deal with art, but architecture, fashion, jewelry, and furniture as well. This is a great opportunity for students to fill internship hours and gain real world experience.

This Internship at FIVEten STUDIO provides a wide variety of experience, from understanding business operations and refining communication skills to managing art inventory and handling art. The Intern will (in order of relevance):

* General Bookkeeping
* Keep financial and consignment records organized and archived
* Maintain office, artwork inventory
* Manage contacts database
* Help with exhibition layouts and artwork installation
* Update the website
* Create and manage podcasts
* Interact with clients in a professional, customer service oriented manner
* Complete other tasks as assigned


Ideal candidates should embody the following traits:

* Enthusiasm and ability to learn all gallery functions
* Professional, outgoing, personable demeanor
* Excellent communication skills, especially via phone
* Proactive work ethic with ability to prioritize and problem solve
* Effective organizational skills
* Willingness to complete various tasks
* Proficiency with PCs, Windows (primarily Excel and Word), and Creative Suite (especially Photoshop)
* Sense of humor

Requirements:

A minimum of a 3 month commitment, interning at least one 6 hour shift/week
