Public Relations - FOR CREDIT ONLY
The Public Relations Department is seeking two to three (2-3) motivated, detail-oriented interns to support the Dolce & Gabbana and D&G brands by working on a variety of projects including but not limited to:

• Managing showroom related activities and effectively allocating and organizing seasonal press samples.
• Tracking all editorial credits.
• Comprising editorial report materials, press kit / lookbook photo shoots, assembly, and distribution.
• Maintaining, tracking, and organizing multiple collection archives, publicity media lists and editorial calendars.

All internships are for academic credit only and require a time commitment of at least two (2) full days each week for approximately ten to twelve weeks.

Well known designer clothing company seeks an Operations intern. The successful candidate will possess data base expertise, quantitative ability, extraordinary follow up and communication skills. The internship duration is a period of not less than 6 months and is a part time position with 25 hours per week required.

Job Description:
• Order and data base management
• Assisting the Director of Operations and Logistics Manager with inventory reporting and management
• Assisting with financial reporting as it relates to shipping
• Quantitative analysis as it relates to shipping strategy and organization
• Miscellaneous duties to be determined may include assistance with facilities, office and system management.

Skills required:
• First rate computer literacy

This is an unpaid position; however we strongly suggest that the person accepting this internship be open to being mentored and using their time with us as a learning experience. That said we will work with faculty to evaluate the work for school credit.

The Addison Story Design Intern (NYC)

Design Intern
Contemporary clothing company sold in boutiques and department stores seeks a talented, outgoing, creative design intern to start immediately. We are looking for a student/graduate in fashion design with great design skills. He/She will work directly with the designer and be involved in the creative process from sample to production as well as help with the daily operation.

REQUIRMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fashion design student or recent graduate
- Knowledge of basic pattern making, sewing, and textiles
- Detail oriented, organized, attentive, punctual, reliable, great attention to detail, follow instruction, work independently as well as part of a team, time management, and most importantly, enthusiastic.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel (preferred but not mandatory)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hand and flat sketching
- Trim/fabric sourcing and organizing
- Building tech packs
- Inspiration sourcing
- Assist in photo shoots and video filming
- General administrative help
- Production
- Embellishment layouts
- Assist in fittings
- Must be willing to assist in other departments when necessary: sales and marketing

COMPENSATION:
Because we are a small company, interns will have many responsibilities. It is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn all aspects of the business at a growing company.

- School credit is available
- Stipend for transportation and lunch

PROPOSED WORK SCHEDULE:
We prefer a full time intern working 3-5 days a week, 30+ hours. The internship will last for a minimum of 3 months and will start ASAP.

Her pieces are carried in prestigious stores such a Bergdorf Goodman in New York and Harrods in London, as well as many other stores in the Continental US. They have been featured in many high end magazines such as: Vogue, Elle, Allure, W, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, and InStyle.

Kara Ross is looking for a intern available at least 3 times a week. (Starting ASAP through June)

This opportunity allows extensive hands-on experience, therefore the person must be detail oriented as well as pro-active. We are looking for someone who is interested in jewelry and/or handbags, learning about the business aspect of the fashion world with knowledge of Microsoft office, positive attitude, a willingness to take on responsibility and works well in a team environment.

The job will range from helping to organize the showroom, assisting with jewelry and/or handbag production, working with buyers, working with editors, managing orders, and other responsibilities.
