Bridge has a friendly, open environment and plenty of opportunity for experiencing varied public relations work during an internship. Bridge is a general public relations firm with an emphasis on international PR. Services provided are in the areas of corporate/financial PR, consumer product marketing, business-to-business, health/science/tech, non-profit PR and crisis management.

Responsibilities may include help with the following:

• media monitoring, analysis and preparation of client reports

• varied writing

• media relations (media list building, media calling)

• events coordination (coordinating meeting logistics)

• research

• administrative work (copying, faxing, etc.)

Requirements include:

• impeccable written and oral English skills

• intense desire to learn

• serious commitment to internship and sense of responsibility

• ability to work at least 1 ½ days (12-16 hours) a week

Chic Little Devil Style House and online boutique is seeking interns to start as soon as possible. We are located in downtown LA in the fashion district, walking distance from FIDM. We have a 6,000 square foot space that has balconies that have great views of the city, which we utilize for photo shoots and various events. We are a cool and fun staff, but you'll be expected to work hard here too. Chic Little Devil is a rapidly growing company that deals with the city’s best stylists, photographers, producers and LA’s elite and celebrities. We are the ultimate one stop shop and concierge for fashion.

This is an unpaid academic or experience only internship. We are in need of hard working self starters that can keep up with a fast paced environment. Interns are expected to work 1 day a week from the hours of 10:00am to 6:30pm . This is a four month commitment in which each intern that completes the internship with no more than one missed scheduled day, will receive a $200 gift certificate to our showroom merchandise!!! :) Your duties for the internship can include everything from styling photo shoots, organizing and hanging clothes, helping on buying runs and at market week, making coffee :), straightening and cleaning, contacting stylists etc etc.

KMW Textiles is looking for a sales/marketing intern beginning immediately. We are the US sales office of 5 European/Asian Textile mills. We are the liaison between textile mills and American/Canadian designers and brands. The mills we represent include: Willy Hermann Knits (Austria), Codentel Lace (France), Hammerle & Vogel Embroideries (Austria), Tianhai Lace (China), and Mastex Lace (Thailand).

Location: NYC

We are looking for a junior or senior currently enrolled in college (preference given to Fordham University students). We would prefer a business student but any major is accepted. No experience necessary – we will train completely.

This is an extremely hands-on internship so only serious applicants need apply!

Job description
Handling sampling requests/customer inquiries
Data entry of sales orders/invoices/payments
Maintaining sample collection
Researching prospective customers
Accounts receivable
Following up on orders
Administrative tasks (filing, answering phones, etc..)

The ideal candidate:
Must be extremely detail oriented and organized
Must be proactive and able to work independently
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Interested in fashion – must have a good eye for design but mainly focused on the business side
Must be a “computer person” – able to troubleshoot if there is a problem
Comfortable working in a home office
Available 2-3 days a week
Quick learner

This is an unpaid internship (will discuss stipend during interview) but has the opportunity to turn into a paid position if we find the right candidate.
