Project Ethos showcases emerging fashion, music and art to buyers, media and consumers through live events and the world wide web. Project Ethos has been featured in Women's Wear Daily, LA Times, CA Apparel News, Huffington Post, Racked LA, NBC, and many more.
We are now officially seeking motivated individuals and college students for our part-time internship program to work alongside our participants in fashion, music, and art for our San Diego event in July.
Interns are needed for the following departments: Event Public Relations, Fashion Event Production, Fashion, and Art.
EVENT PUBLIC RELATIONS:
Assists the Event PR Director with the event PR aspect of the show including but not limited to: promotion, networking, and outreach to influential tastemakers, top media, buyers, curators, + consumers, and much more.
FASHION EVENT PRODUCTION:
Assists the Event Production Director with the fashion show production portion of the event, including but not limited to: model casting, fashion show production, dressing, fittings, and much more.
FASHION:
Assists the Fashion Director with the fashion aspect of the event, including but not limited to: scouting and contacting potential San Diego based designers, model casting, designer participant outreach and support, and much more.
ART:
Assists the Art Director with the art gallery portion of the even, including but not limited to: scouting new local talent to showcase at Project Ethos, art gallery set-up, and much more.
REQUIREMENTS:
Great written and oral communication skills
Self-starter and takes initiative
Detail-oriented and well-organized
Team player with a positive attitude
Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Email)
Passionate about fashion, PR, music, and art
Available in June-July, including day of the event (date: TBD)

We are a very busy sweater company, looking for an intern to help out around the office/showroom.
Duties will vary every day; we need someone who is very flexible and willing to handle any task.
These include, but are not limited to:
General office duties - Filing, scanning, copying
Running errands around the garment district
Showroom upkeep
Steaming clothes
Helping at trade shows
This is a really great opportunity to get hands-on experience in the wholesale/garment industry, and will give you a lot to put on your resume!
Must be available 2-4 days a week. Schedule is flexible.
This is an unpaid internship.

We are a small but well-established fashion and textile design studio in the garment district seeking a smart, efficient, and self-driven studio assistant. The assistant is to perform tasks related to digital archiving; preparing samples for presentation and other day-to-day office errands.
Our company sells vintage print designs and garment pattern ideas to a wide range of designers from luxury-runway to mass market, so a general knowledge of the fashion market is necessary.
The person qualified for this position is ORGANIZED and SELF-MOTIVATED in finishing tasks in an effective and timely matter- because of the nature of this position you will be needed to assist on other tasks and projects in the studio, successful maintenance of several open projects is necessary.
Other daily tasks include:
- Studio Maintenance- organizing garments, categorizing prints, and overall cleanliness
-Social Media- This position will also have a social media aspect to it, maintenance of the company Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr- a good grasp of these sites is necessary and will be important to the position.
-Online Sales- Maintenance of the inventory and aesthetic value of all online retail platforms- we also sell our collection on eBay, etsy, and other like websites, the intern would work with the team to decide on looks, pricing and style of these pages.
This position is part time and flexible- approximately 25-40 hours a week. Great for fashion design and art students.
Must be mac proficient and able to use the Adobe suite and Microsoft Office Programs.

S.Y.L.K. is a women's contemporary retail boutique with several locations.
We are currently looking for interns at our Corporate Office located in the Fashion District of Downtown LA.
Must have minimum availability of 4 hour shifts, two days a week on a set schedule (Tuesday- Friday). Duties vary from day to day and may include anything from steaming garments, cleaning and organizing the offices, assisting with photo shoots, picking up lunch and coffees, checking the mail, answering phones, taking pictures of garments on manequins, organizing fabric swatches, creating spreadsheets, etc.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. PhotoShop skills are an added bonus!
This is a very fast paced environment! You must be able to multitask and take directions from multiple supervisors.
Current fashion students preferred.
