HGTV Magazine Style/Home Internship (NY)


HGTV Magazine is looking for Style/Home Interns for the Summer. This is a great opportunity for a superstar to work with a small team of editors. We need someone who is curious about home products, magazines and who loves to shop.
The Style/Home Intern will be assisting the Market and Style Editors in finding the latest and greatest products out there-beautiful pillows, colorful kitchen gadgets etc. Ideal candidate must be well organized and have a roll up yoursleeves attitude. Daily responsibilities include: coordinating shipping andmaintaining prop closet and researching trends. This isn’t a writing job.
Candidate should be available minimum 2 full days per week (but we’d love5!). You MUST receive college credit for this internship.

The People StyleWatch Fashion department is seeking a full time, paid Summer intern for the fashion closet. You MUST be able to receive school credit. Production Intern for Startup Textile Studio (NY)


A cutting edge textile studio in Chelsea is currently seeking production interns to assist with the photographing of our vintage archive. Those with an interest in fine-art photography or textiles are preferred, though anyone interested in trying something new are also welcome to apply. A basic understanding of light-retouching in photoshop is preferred, though we are willing to train candidates in basic lighting and photographic processes. 

This is a non-paid internship with a minimum commitment of 2 days a week required, though hours are flexible and we may be expanding our production hours to weekends for those who have prior commitments during the week. 

This is not a creative position, but candidates will learn a great deal about textiles, textile history, as well as photography and basic photoshop skills. Chromaculture Apparel Internship (SF)

Chromaculture Apparel is a growing, private label, design oriented, screen-printing and branding company in Marin. We design and print apparel, posters and packaging for businesses, schools, events and local labels in the Bay Area. Our mission is to provide quality products that last (and don't end up in the Goodwill box), unsurpassed customer service, locally produced products and an efficient turn around. We consistently go above and beyond to exceed expectations. We value working closely with our customers on every aspect of production from concept development to finishing and delivery. 

We need some help this summer to reach out to potential customers! If you've got ideas, we're excited to hear them and work with you! 

We need someone to work 2-3 days/week, sometimes including planned weekend events, for 2-3 months this upcoming summer, depending on your availability.

Job duties include: 
- managing our social media (ie: creating weekly posts on our Tumblr blog, occational updates on Twitter & Facebook, and adding to our Pinterest & Instagram)
- assisting with direct email outreach to corporate companies, non-profits, and other local organizations, plus helping brainstorm other potential business
- assembling orders and shipping packages
- organizing samples
- assisting in event planning and tabling at summer markets and concerts 

We can offer you:
- valuable hands-on experience in seeing a start-up begin from the ground-up

- hands-on experience learning how to screen print (and possibly some free t-shirts)
- experience in tabling at local events including farmers markets, flea markets, craft fairs, and concerts
- snacks when you're hungry 
- Small stipend

Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic about fashion, the Made-in-America movement, and are okay with miscellaneous duties involved with helping a start-up. Preferably we'd like someone who can receive university credit.

We're seeking an enthusiastic, high energy intern with a desire to learn and grown in the fashion industry. Jacket fashion designer/ manufacturer seeking an intern to assist in design/development, social media, research of fashion forecasting and trends.

Social Media Intern for Fashion E-commerce Site (SF)

We are a 3 year old fashion e-commerce site looking for amazing interns who wish to learn about maintaining a successful fashion site as well as utilizing their photography and graphic design skills. We sell women's and men's contemporary clothing and accessories, so we definitely look for candidates who have their own unique sense of style and a passion for the industry. We welcome students and new grads to apply for our internship. This is a 3-month for-credit internship that can lead to part-time and full time roles in the company. The hours will be no more than 15 hours a week, no more than two weekends a month, usually on the weekends and some weekdays.
