Lulu Frost Intern (NY)

Lulu Frost is a high end costume jewelry brand. We are seeking an intern to assist our production & design team.

This internship is very hands on so applicants must be comfortable using hand-tools such as pliers, files, drills and epoxy. Knowledge of basic jewelry making techniques is preferred. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and an enthusiasm to learn.

Duties and responsibilities will include: running errands throughout the garment/diamond district, sourcing materials, assisting with basic repairs, organization and maintenance of our vintage archives, assisting the design and production team with various projects.

This position is unpaid, however a small stipend will be provided. We are looking for a late spring/early summer intern, ideally to begin immediately and commit through July. This is a great opportunity for students studying fashion or jewelry.

Job Description:
Page Sargisson, a successful New York based jewelry designer, is hiring a summer intern. Page creates 10KT Gold and Silver jewelry sold around the country and worldwide in Japan, Europe and Australia.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in marketing, sales, accounting, production and more. Work with our fun team and see how a small creative business really works. No jewelry design experience necessary. You will learn many aspects of the business and jewelry production process.

Internship responsibilities would include:
-aid public relations campaign
-help wholesale and retail distribution
-inventory management, quality control
-help with photoshoots
-tradeshow assistance
-updating databases and other general office duties
-helping with some aspects of jewelry production

Qualifications:
-Strong Writing Skills
-Word and Excel
-Good attention to detail
-Photoshop skills and Quickbooks knowledge a plus, but not necessary

Internship is unpaid. Start date is June 1. Internship runs June-August or potentially longer. A 1-2 day a week commitment is required.

PR Internship

Top East Bay Public Relations Agency specializing in fashion, beauty and design clients is currently hiring interns.

We are looking for an intern (in or out of school is fine) who can dedicate three full days a week.

This is internship is an excellent way to learn about PR first hand and add valuable experience to your resume. Our interns have the opportunity to learn many different aspects of PR and work very closely with our team. (Our interns have gone to work in the public relations field in both San Francisco and New York City.)

Responsibilities include: maintaining the database, communication with clients and media (editors, producers, bloggers), tracking press coverage for clients, assisting with media research, mailings, working with Cision, etc.
