We are currently looking for team members to join us as a sales consultant in our upscale bridal salon. We are trying to fill both part-time and full-time positions. As with most retail jobs, please be prepared to work on the weekend if necessary.

Our ideal team member should be a friendly, outgoing individual who thrives when working in a customer service intensive environment. Since we pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service to our customers, professionalism and trustworthiness is also very important.

We train all of our team members in responsibilities such as:
• Assisting brides in trying on wedding gowns
• Providing feedback and recommendations on various dresses selected by customers
• Selecting complimentary gowns to meet brides’ desired requirements
• Developing knowledge of bridal fashion styles, trends, designers, fit/alterations
• Maintaining the visual appearance and cleanliness of the store to company standards

Necessary Qualifications:
• Outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills
• Professional attitude and well-groomed appearance
• Good work ethic – team player, punctual, self-motivated, dependable
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to make customers feel comfortable
• Must be able to work weekends
• Prior fashion or retail experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Compensation: Hourly plus commission

Eco + Sustainable Fashion - Echo Road Internship, Seattle

Echo Road is an innovative Seattle shop exclusively dedicated to socially and environmentally advanced fashion.

Echo Road offers fashionable, functional styles from companies that produce sweatshop-free, sustainable fiber, low-impact dyed clothing. We hope you'll fall in love with a few pieces and wear them for years to come.

Research

Analyze and compile articles, news sources, and other public information on the apparel industry and other related topics. Interview designers and industry experts to create online profiles.

Design

Prototype and create special items such as garment bags, shopping bags and other Echo Road products from reclaimed and vintage materials. Assist with de-threading, steaming, occasional repairs and alterations.

Shop and Administrative

Get a taste of the many aspects of business ownership. If there's a particular area you'd like to focus on, we're willing to work with you. In general, it's an opportunity to work behind the scenes and with customers. Possible duties could include: assisting with website and marketing material updates, photo shoots, public relations, blog contribution, organizational projects and other miscellaneous errands.
