PR Fashion Firm Beverly Hills
PR firm is looking for confident, driven, and personable interns. We are a growing boutique fashion PR firm located in Beverly Hills and are now interviewing candidates. The qualified individual will have a passion for learning the business and developing a career in the fashion and public relations industry. For the right person, a full-time position is possible after 3 months.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Maintaining database of media contacts, stylists, editors, etc.
- Supporting staff by making research and follow-up inquiries
- Monitoring and archiving product placement
- Searching media outlets – print, web, etc. for placement
- Celebrity, stylist, and editor gifting
- Occasional editing and writing of press releases
- General office duties including – answering phones, shipping packages, ordering office supplies, assisting staff in day to day tasks
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Proactive go-getter who is willing to be hands-on
- Excellent writing skills is a MUST
- Exceptional phone and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work both independently and within a group
- Reliable, detail-oriented and extremely motivated
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Internet research experience
- Knowledge/interest/experience in fashion and/or PR
- Outgoing and professional with a sense of humor
Other requirements/important information:
- Minimum of 15 hours a week (2-3 days)
- College credit available/unpaid
- Must have a commitment of at least 3 months
- Position available immediately
- Must like dogs (we have an adorable one in the office)

The Fashion Department at W Magazine seeks highly motivated, responsible, detail-oriented interns for the SUMMER 2009 semester. This is an unpaid position in which you must receive college credit. A full-time (5 days per week) commitment is required for a summer internship.
Interns will be based in the fashion closet assisting the fashion assistant and participate in a variety of projects, which may include:
-Managing clothing samples
-Liasing with a variety of PR firms and designer showrooms
-Preparing for photo shoots
-Assisting the fashion editors with various tasks
