Retail Intern
General Purpose of Position:
The Retail Intern will be responsible for working with the Boutique Management team to support the sales staff. Main projects include, but are not limited to:
- Customer service and customer management
- Database management
- Assisting sales associates with styling
- Assisting Operations Manager with stock management and cycle counts
- Assisting in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
- Helping to solve problems that affect the service and productivity of the selling floor
- Assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise, when necessary
Requirements:
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job, including phone systems, cash register, sensor-tag remover, and all other office equipment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages a plus; computer literacy a must

Textile Design Expert
Position Summary:
The primary focus of this position will be to provide demonstrations and training to Lectra customers and potential customers on using and optimizing Lectra’s products (software and services) in compliance with the customer contract. Additional responsibilities will include assisting Lectra Customers and Lectra technical personnel with Design Application and CAD Application related issues. Since the focus of this position will cater to the Korean markets on the west coast, it is imperative that the candidate be proficient in both English and Korean languages (written and spoken).
Job Responsibilities:
1. Training Sales
o Develop the client business relationship by detecting business opportunities (services, products), during meetings with clients, during demonstrations, trainings or any other occasion
o Identify customer’s objectives and needs
o Recommend to the client useful additional trainings or any other service, and inform the manager or the Salesman
o Present the training and services catalog to the client
2. Training Preparation
o Check that the participants’ level of ability matches the objectives and the pre-requisites of the training: estimate the skills level of the people to be trained and prepare the customized training offer
o Prepare and organize the training session: check the good working order of the workstation (=documentation, hardware, teaching help…) = logistics

Communicate with Call Center, HQ support services and R&D to escalate major issues
5. Information & Communication
o Report to Lectra on:
Bugs met in applications, limits of a product, and feature requirements from client…
Performance results (e.g.: knowledge acquisition)
Training activities as well as client and sales follow-up activities

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Knowledge of textile industry and of customers’ trades: know how to analyze the client’s organization and workflow regarding the solution (auditing techniques)
o Perfect knowledge of Lectra's products (including KaledoPrint, Weave, Knit, Style, Collection, as well as CAD applications such as Modaris, Diamino, 3D fit) and of the Training catalogue
o Mastery of all hardware and software configurations of the training room, as « application administration» and be able to make them operational = detect hardware and software dysfunction
o Excellent communications skills and public speaking experience
o Attention to detail is imperative
o Self disciplined and able to multi-task
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
o Four-year College Degree required – Textiles / Pattern Design Degree preferred
o Two (2) years industry experience utilizing the appropriate hardware/software applications
o Technical sales ability to present a solution or program to a customer
o Mastery of Educational tools used to transmit know-how as well as of Training techniques for adults within a commercial scope
o Mastery of office tools (to design documents): Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
