As our Footwear Design Intern in the Nike Sportswear category, you'll assist with project work through supporting a project designer or team. You'll conduct project research, the preparation of presentation materials, design development of concepts by others and design production/formation/final artwork and drawings. You'll assist others to create original, innovative products that appropriately reflect Nike's design perspective. You'll also participate in activities that increase your working knowledge of Nike's products, product lines, and product development process. You'll design footwear product with an emphasis on graphics, color and materials. You'll have the ability to translate the consumer combining fashion and sport. You'll utilizes industrial design skills combined with graphic design to create original, innovative designs that appropriately reflect NIKE's design philosophy and standards, with direction given from design management. In addition, you'll need to effectively communicate and present design concepts within category team and bring new ideas in product, graphics, color and materials to the table reflecting the NSW Consumer.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position include:
  • Finishing junior year in an Industrial Design program
  • Industrial design skills combined with graphic design skills
  • Understanding of color and materials
  • Skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with 3D design tools a plus
  • Footwear research, concept, design, presentation skills
  • Keen interest in Nike Sportswear (youth culture, sports, graphics, hip hop, fashion) a plus
  • Minimum 3.3 GPA or higher

As our Graphic Design Intern in the Global Women's Training department, you'll work with staff in the apparel design groups to prototype solutions as well as work with testing and lab staff to test and analyze results. You'll assist in documenting results for communication to the women's training design and marketing team. You'll also participate in key meetings and product reviews to foster understanding of the women's training business and the women's apparel design process. You'll assist others to create original, innovative designs that appropriately reflect Nike's design perspective. In addition, you'll participate in activities that increase your working knowledge of Nike's products and branding.

Qualifications
Requirements for the position include:
  • Completed junior year of degree program in Apparel Design or Graphic Design Major
  • Apparel construction knowledge
  • Interest in women's training apparel design and problem solving
  • Drawing, sketching, documentation of design skills
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and Indesign
  • Visual/written presentation skills - needs to be able to present conclusions and findings effectively in written/visual format
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Production/electronic file preparation.

Unpaid PR Internship (Hollywood)

Public Relations Internships available at the LA office of ZING USA - a consumer lifestyle PR firm with offices in New York + Los Angeles.

Applicants must be self-motivated and willing to dive right into tasks as they are given out. The intern will be in constant contact and under advisement of the President and agency consultants, but confidence and proactive thinking is a must! Applicants must have a confident phone manner, possess creative thinking, and have excellent attention to detail. Familiarity with Word and Excel is a must.

Specific tasks include scheduling appointments, coordinating mailings, managing contact lists, filing clippings and rolling calls. Previous work experience in an office setting is preferred. Public relations experience is a plus!

Producer’s Assistant. This will be a PART TIME job to start. With full time option and advancement and PAY.

Multi-award winning Producer seeking a new Assistant. Several projects in development, several projects shooting. Will consider internships for college seniors or recent graduates only. ASSISTANT POSITION: Salary will range from between $200-$400 per week depending upon part-time versus full time employment. However, as we go into production on various projects (film & television), salary will increase on a per project basis depending upon your work-load on those projects.
