Luxury Leather Intern (Los Angeles)

We are looking for a reliable person who is eager to learn the ropes in the demanding world of fashion.

We are a luxury leather good company, recently featured in British Vogue and in the window of Barneys Madison Ave store. We are a small company, up against the big dogs like Hermes and Gucci, sold in the top stores the world over.

We need someone who can apply themselves diligently to any task; someone with good people skills and working knowledge of basic office programs like Excel, photoshop, Outlook/Entourage. We can train the right person in more specific areas, but these are definitely required.

Tasks could be anything like keeping track of inventory, helping make calls to stores, filing, answering phones, creating postcards or other printed materials, photographing merchandise, researching new materials, organizing components, maintaining spread sheets ofr various projects, and basically assisting both the COO and owner on every level.

You will learn A LOT, and there is room to grow with this company. We prefer someone who is looking for a career; we don't hire all our interns, but we won't hire anyone who didn't start out that way for this position. If you are simply looking for experience, we would love to meet you if you are willing to give us a 4 month commitment.

Bottom line, we work hard, and we laugh a lot and have fun. It is a casual atmosphere, but its ground zero for a distinctive and prestigious luxury leather goods company. NO matter how much fun we have, we are very serious about taking this company to the next level and we need someone who can commit and focus and see the bright future that awaits them if they meet our criteria!

Please email resume. Remember that this is a ground floor position, as an intern, and the stipend is quite humble to start.

You can see our website at www.marcmarmel.com

We are looking forward to meeting you!
