Dynamic PR Agency Seeks Inventive and Motivated Intern (downtown / civic / van ness)

We are a small, full-service public relations agency specializing in branding, publicity, and special events for our wide range of clients including fashion, retail, technology, professional, service industries, entertainment, high-profile individuals and non-profit organizations.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic intern to join us in our office daily to support our team. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday from noon to 6:00pm, and a six month commitment is required. Ideal candidate is an extremely detail oriented, organized, and energetic individual who is able to work effectively both independently and also as part of a team. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are essential to this position. Solid computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet, and familiarity with Mac’s and PC’s a must. We are looking for someone who can maintain efficiency under pressure and truly be able to hit the ground running.
Intern’s duties will include general office support, research, guest list and database management, drafting and preparing correspondence, assisting in event planning, attending and assisting in event operations, writing and distributing press releases, invitations, and announcements, and coordinating pre- and post-event communications, etc. This opportunity offers unbeatable hands-on exposure to the exciting and faced paced world of PR.
This is an unpaid internship.
We will work with college students to arrange academic credit for participation in our internship program.
