Abercrombie and Fitch Internship (NY)
The internship positions: Our Corporate Internship Program in Merchandising provides a select group of college students in their junior year an opportunity to experience being a merchant at Abercrombie & Fitch for 10 weeks over the summer. Interns work for one of our five brands and will be placed on a specific product category for the summer. After two weeks of intensive training, interns will oversee vendor communication, attend fittings, participate in design reviews, and have a thorough knowledge of the business they are working on. This program is structured to allow interns to take on a great deal of responsibility quickly and gain immediate exposure to senior leadership. Interns will be active players in helping make one of A&F's product categories successful for the upcoming seasons.

BCBG Internship (LA and NYC)
Thank you for your interest in the BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP, INC. internship program. Listed below are the guidelines and requirements to fulfill an internship with our company. Please read through the guidelines carefully and if the criteria is met attach your resume in word format.
The internship program is geared towards undergraduate students, however; graduate students may apply. If you are a recent graduate and looking for internship opportunities please note you may not be eligible to participate in the program as students must receive college credit. Students who are current employees of BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP, INC. must be granted permission from their District Manager before applying to the internship program.
All internships are unpaid and students must receive college credit in order to participate in the program. Please note that proof of college credit must be submitted before start date. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE!

Internships are year round fall, spring and summer. Start dates vary depending on school quarters and semesters. The following are the application due dates for 2008-2009 school year. Please note resumes will be accepted year round and some interviews will take place on campus.
Fall 2008 (August-December) Applications must be received by June 1, 2008. Interviews will be scheduled in June 2008.
Spring 2009 (December-June) Applications must be received by September 1, 2008. Interviews will be scheduled in September and October 2008.
Summer 2009 (May-September) Application must be received by December 1, 2008. Interviews will be scheduled in January and February.
Students must be entering Junior (third year) or Senior (fourth year) status in college. If you are a student registered in a two year program please ensure college credit is available and that you are in the correct quarter/semester to complete an internship. Please contact a career counselor for eligibility before applying to the program.
The internship program is a minimum of eight weeks and a maximum of 6 months if students are in enrolled in co-op program. Hours are flexible and vary for each department. The amount of hours required to complete an internship will be determined by individual campus career counselors or internship coordinators. We require a 2-3 day commitment during the school year and 3-5 days during the summer. All hours will be completed during business hours Monday-Friday 8:30 to 5:30.
Students interested in Design, Textile Design and Production must submit samples of their work. Suggested work should include hand sketches and computer aided design samples.
All internships with the exception of the New York showroom positions (Wholesale Sales and Public Relations) are offered in Los Angeles office at our corporate headquarters.
